Post-Ticketing Fees
At TopTravelPlanners, we understand that plans may change after confirming your reservation. To maintain operational efficiency and provide complete transparency, this policy outlines the post-ticketing fees that may apply once a vehicle rental reservation has been processed and confirmed.
1. Definition
Post-ticketing fees are charges applied when a customer requests changes, cancellations, or special handling after receiving the official reservation confirmation from TopTravelPlanners. These fees help cover administrative processing, provider coordination, and system adjustments.
2. Reservation Changes
If you wish to modify any details of your reservation (such as dates, pickup location, or vehicle type) after confirmation, an administrative fee will apply. Fees may vary depending on the type of change and the provider’s policies.

3. Post-Confirmation Cancellations
Cancellations requested after confirmation are subject to the provider’s terms and the corresponding administrative fee from TopTravelPlanners. If the provider has already issued the rental contract, refunds may take 7 to 14 business days.
- Cancellations within the first 24 hours: $25 USD service fee.
- Cancellations 24–48 hours before rental start: 50% of the total service cost.
- Cancellations less than 24 hours before pickup: non-refundable (per provider policy).
4. Rental Period Extensions
If you need to keep the vehicle longer than initially contracted, you must request a rental extension. Approval is subject to provider availability. Applicable fees may include:
- Administrative fee: $20 – $30 USD.
- Daily rate difference: based on provider and vehicle category.
- Additional security deposit: may be required depending on the extension.
5. Refunds and Payment Processing
If a change or cancellation qualifies for a refund, it will be issued through the original method of payment. TopTravelPlanners applies a processing fee of $15 – $30 USD to cover banking and operational costs.
6. No-Show Fees
If the customer does not show up at the pickup location without prior notice, the reservation is considered a No-Show. In such cases, no refund will be issued, and a management fee of up to $50 USD may apply from TopTravelPlanners to cover provider coordination.
7. Data or Documentation Corrections
Any request to update information (name, email address, driver’s license details, etc.) after the reservation has been issued is subject to a manual processing fee of $10 – $20 USD. This fee covers identity verification and updating provider records.
8. Special Support or Case Handling
Cases requiring additional assistance (such as disputes, emergency changes, or extensive documentation) may incur an administrative fee between $20 and $50 USD, depending on complexity.
9. Force Majeure Cases
If a change or cancellation occurs due to events outside the customer’s control (medical emergencies, severe weather, government restrictions, etc.), TopTravelPlanners will review the case individually to determine whether a partial or full waiver of post-ticketing fees is applicable.
10. Transparency and Communication
All post-ticketing fees will be communicated clearly and in advance before any change is processed. TopTravelPlanners will never apply hidden or unauthorized fees.
